Taco Series 1600 Centrifugal Pumps are manufactured to meet the latest industry standards for hydraulic performance and reliability. These Taco series have permanently lubricated cartridge centrifugal pumps. The pump is specifically designed for applications that require more GPM flow with larger feet of the head for commercial setups. They are quiet, dependable and high on performance and off course; it is backed by world-class designing and expertise of Taco Inc. The Taco Inc. has been manufacturing heating and cooling equipments for more than 8 decades.

The Taco “1600” Series In-Line pumps are launched in 15 models ranging in size from 1 1/2” X ½” to 2”X 2” with a flow range from 10 to 235 GPM and Head capacities up to 68 feet. The pump utilizes an excellent combination of an exclusive replaceable and cooler running bearing cartridge design. This exclusive design isolates the bearing from the effects from system fluid temperatures which greatly influence the life of the bearing. The design of the cartridge includes a permanently sealed grease lubricated ball bearing making it almost maintenance free.

As standard procedure, all Taco Series 1600 Centrifugal Pumps are furnished with ceramic seals so that they can meet a wide range of application requirements. The mechanical seal has an ingeniously unitized design which combines all the components of the rotating element like-spring, retainer, bellows and carbon into one assembly making the seal replacement fast and simple.
