• The Triple Duty Valve as the name suggests refers to three valves in one - Non slam drip-tight valve, positive shutoff valve and calibrated system balance valve. It makes it an energy efficient design with the lowest pressure drop. It has an EPDM Disc Soft Seat design, brass Seat & bronze disc and a stainless steel stem. It can repack under pressure and has a multi turn valve (8-9 turns). It’s available connections are Threaded, Flanged and Grooved and has a ESP-Plus System Selection
• The Suction Diffuser has full length stainless steel straightening vanes and an oversized cylinder assures minimum strainer pressure drop. It includes a pressure gauge tap and is an extremely space saving design. This reduces the “footprint” size of the unit. It has available connections such as threaded, flanged and grooved. The reducer and elbow provide multiple combinations of inlet and pump suction configurations which eliminate the need for reducer fittings. This also has an ESP plus system selection.

A few things to remember

• Pumps shall be base mounted, single stage, end suction design with a foot mounted volute to allow removal and service of the entire rotating assembly without disturbing the pump piping, electrical motor connections or pump to motor alignment.
• The liquid cavity shall be sealed off at the pump shaft by an internally-flushed mechanical seal with ceramic seal seat and carbon seal ring, suitable for continuous operation at 225°F (107°C).
• Baseplate shall be of structural steel or fabricated steel channel with fully enclosed sides and ends, and securely welded cross members. Grouting area shall be fully open.
• Pump and motor shall be factory aligned, and shall be realigned by the contractor per factory recommendations after installation.
• A pump condition monitoring system should be provided on the pump power end to continuously measure pump vibration and temperature at the outboard bearing.
